4GB 1333 DDR3 Memory Questions and Answerss
Memory spec question?
Here is the motherboard: 4 x 240pin DDR3 DIMM slots,4GB per DIMM(Max 16GB)
Support Triple channel DDR3 1066/1333/1600(OC)MHzNow, what does the OC mean? Overclocked? Can I use any 240 Pin 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, or do I need something special because of the (OC)?
Oh, and while I'm at it, I'm guessing I need memory in order to use the computer and overclock the processor. Would I need lower RAM to get onto the computer and overclock, or can I stick the 1600 RAM in right when I build my system?
(the second question is in response to Lasherz' great answer)This means that you can overclock the motherboard to run at 1600 FSB and they'll still cover you on their warranty if it breaks because of it.
Usually it's just saying, "we didn't really make this motherboard able to go much PAST 1600, but we can do 1600".
You should be fine using 1600 ram, in fact it's recommended, because ram is much more apt to fail from overclocking over time then a motherboard is.
Edit: Usually with DDR3 ram rated for 1600 it will default at a lower frequency (probably 1066Mhz) when you first run it. What you'll need to do is go into the BIOS and set up your RAM voltage (not DIMM reference voltages) to whatever voltage it's meant to run (it should say this on the online specs for it). After this you should be able to crank up the Mhz to 1600 and adjust a few of the timings a bit lower. Motherboards default like this because some RAM sticks only use 1.5v while some use nearly 2v.
You may be able to get away with 1600Mhz at the default voltage, but the timings will be slower than they need to be most likely.

HP Pavilion Elite e9250t Pros
With a price tag of $849.99, the Pavilion Elite e9250t is one of the best desktops from HP. Do you want to know why? Well, first of all, because of its Intel Core i5-750 processor working at 2.66 GHz with 1 MB L2 cache and 8 MB shared L3 cache. This is a very successful processor and seems to work perfectly with all other components. There are also 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM (3 DIMMs), working at 1333 MHz. Thanks to the 640 GB hard disk, working at 7200 rotations per minute, you have more than enough disk space for all your data. An ATI Radeon HD 4350 with 512 MB supports VGA, DVI, and HDMI. A very nice addition to the HP Pavilion Elite e9250t!
Microsoft Windows 7 is taking care of all these resources so that everything runs smoothly and error-free. We have the LightScribe 16X max. DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive as the primary optical drive, and a 16x max. DVD ROM (player) as the secondary one. You have the option to choose a Blu-ray ROM but it will cost extra. We are already accustomed with the 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet card and with the 15-in-1 card reader. The sound is generated by a 7.1 channels sound card, integrated in the main board. As you can imagine, this system is really worth the price tag of $849.99. Does the HP Pavilion Elite e9250t have any cons?
HP Pavilion Elite e9250t Cons
Every electronic device has cons and the Elite e9250t is no exception. We would really need Blu-ray included in the basic configuration. We would also need a wireless Ethernet card. Some speakers would be nice too.
HP Pavilion Elite e9250t rating
The HP e9250t is truly one of the best from HP. The price/quality ratio is great and its performance clearly outmatches many of its competitors. Aside a few minor misses, there is nothing wrong with this desktop. We will rate it 4.9 out of 5 stars.
The HP Pavilion Elite e9250t is one of the best desktops from HP. With its Intel Core i5-750, 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM, and ATI Radeon HD 4350 video card, its performance is over the edge. If HP would have added a wireless Ethernet card, a Blu-ray, and a pair of speakers, this would have been the perfect desktop!
