whats the difference between 1 dimm and 2 dimm ram?
I was configuring a lenovo laptop and in the memory section...there is a
4gb ram with 2Dimm and 4gb ram with 1Dimm which is 6 times more expansive than the 1 Dimm. Why is that? Whats the difference between them two?Most laptops have at the most two slots to put extra memory. Some come with one slot filled. Your computer will hold both DIMMS, it is a matter of will you ever want more than 4 GB. If no, then get the cheaper 2 X 2GB. If you want more later, get the 1 X 4 GB, and you will still have an empty slot.

Is the HP Pavilion dv8t quad edition worth the money?
This is a very stylish laptop that delivers exactly what it promises. With a powerful processor, a lot of RAM, a fast and large hard disk, and a very good video card, this laptop would have received 5 stars out of 5 maximum. However, due to some problems, the HP Pavilion dv8t quad edition receives only 4.5 stars out of 5 maximum.
We agree that when it comes to performance, the HP Pavilion dv8t quad edition, with its i7-720QM processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 230M, the HP Pavilion dv8t quad edition is a very good choice. It will definitely be more appreciated than a desktop computer. In our opinion, it is well worth its price!
