I hear it all the time and see it all over the internet; Can the Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death be Fixed? And the simple answer to this question is, YES! Although people will probably try and tell you otherwise I would advice you disregard these people completely. It is very possible to fix your Xbox 360, and what's even better is you won't have to hire someone to do it for you, you won't have to 'buy a new system' and you won't have to send it in to the manufacturer and potentially pay ridiculous fee's and go through aggravating waiting times. All of this can be avoided by using one of the most recommended repair methods to the RROD which are found in professionally written Xbox 360 repair guides that help you to permanently repair the red light issue.
Self-Fix-it methods have recently been on the rise, and this is primarily because this is currently the only known way to *permanently* fix your Xbox 360 from the Red Ring. You will want to make sure that you are using the proper repair guide however. There are a lot of Self-Fix-it methods on the internet, but only a few of them are safe, legit, and proven to actually fix your Xbox 360 from the Red Ring. With the use of these guides, it's never been easier to fix your Xbox 360 now that a group of Techies have discovered the problem and solution to the RROD; it's surprisingly easier than many might have originally thought.
All that is required to repair the system is to make a small few small adjustments to the motherboard that prevents the system from overheating and voila! That's it! Really! Let me explain. The primary issue with the Xbox 360 getting the RROD has to do with you system overheating. The idea here is to prevent and stop your system from overheating in order to make sure your console doesn't get the red ring of death. No other method online, or even the manufacturer for that matter, seems to know how to stop the overheating issue.
Stopping the overheating issue is surprisingly simple and only requires a few things to be done. First the GPU and CPU have on it, a thermal compound paste that is unreliable against the heat created by the Xbox 360. In order to fix this problem, all that needs to be done is to remove the old paste and then apply a new and higher tolerant thermal paste to the GPU and CPU. That does it for the first mod.
For the second modification we will be dealing with the heat sinks, mother board, and the X-Clamps. The X-Clamps must first be removed before anything else. Next we will need to use a specific set of washers and screws to apply to the heatsinks so that they sit differently on the motherboard then they did when the X-Clamp was holding them in place. This mod. will ensure that the heat sinks are stabilized to a better degree on the motherboard to prevent any heat from getting to the GPU and CPU.
The reason this mod is vitally important is because when the Xbox 360 overheats it bends the motherboard. Once this happens the soldering will come undone and the motherboard becomes unstable, allowing the heat sinks to be misplaced over the GPU and CPU, making them directly vulnerable to the extreme heat being produced. Once the GPU and CPU are affected it's all over and the Red Ring of Death will hit your console.
If this sounds too technical don't worry. The repair that needs to be made to fix your Xbox 360 takes only an hour to do. This repair also requires no technical experience at all and has already helped thousands, and many people that I've recommended it to personally. I've never heard one complaint, or anyone come to me and say that it didn't work. All of this is because this repair teaches you how to stop your system from overheating, which is the primary issue. As long as you can follow along with the video tutorials provided for you in the repair guide you might as well consider your system fixed already.
For as long as the RROD has been making gamers' lives a night-mare, it's ironically never been easier to bring this issue to an end. So if you need to fix your Xbox 360 then I would highly advise that you consider this method your best bet. This has been helping people for over 2 years so it can definitely help you fix your Xbox 360 permanently!
