Asus Motherboard; can't find a replacement?
I had an Asus Motherboard that just died. I tried to by another one, but realized they were discontinued, so I'm seeking a new one. My CPU is an AMD X2 4800+ CPU, socket 939, but I've noticed a lot of AM2+/AM2, AM3/AM2+/AM2, but no socket 939... Did they replace names? or is that socket type discontinued too?
The "ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX AMD Motherboard" is discontinued. I felt a little lazy; didn't want to search for the right specs, so I tried to purchase the same motherboard. I guess I'll do a little research and find something...
@Skylol, you're right, I put so much money into this system about 3 years ago (more than 2 grands) and I doubt I'll ever do it again. Chances are I will just get a generic PC, without a screen, but PLENTY of ram.

I'm not sure what the problem is. If you Google "socket 939 motherboard" you'll find any number of motherboards for sale.
