HP Pavilion Elite e9280t Pros
It looks like the term Elite in the "Pavilion Elite e9280t" isn't placed there for no reason. This desktop is clearly one of the elites. First of all, it comes with an elite operating system, Microsoft Windows 7. Second, it is powered by an elite processor, the Intel Core i7-920, working at 2.66 GHz with 1 MB L2 cache and 8 MB shared L3 cache. Third, it comes with 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM working at 1066 MHz. Fourth, it features a 750 GB SATA hard disk that is working at 7200 rpm and transfers data at 3 Gb/s. Fifth, the 1 GB ATI Radeon HD 4650 is simply amazing. Of course, it supports VGA, DVI, and HDMI.
These resources make the HP Pavilion Elite e9280t one of the elites in its field. As we have already imagined, the primary optical drive is a LightScribe 16X max. DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive, while the secondary one is a 16x max. DVD ROM (player). We will be able to access the Internet through an integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet card. The integrated 7.1 channel sound card and the 15-in-1 card reader are no surprise.
HP Pavilion Elite e9280t Cons
Just like its predecessors, for $999.99 you would expect a Blu-ray ROM and Wireless Ethernet card. At least a TV tuner would be nice. However, any of these can be added. This would bring the Elite e9280t's price to $1659.99. Now, this I call expensive! Well, elites are never cheap.
Gamers will appreciate the HP Pavilion Elite e9280t
All in all, the HP Elite e9280t is a very good desktop. A little too expensive for what it offers. However, you can't have everything! We assure you that this system would make a very good server. Not to mention that you will be able to run virtually anything. If you are a gamer, the HP Pavilion Elite e9280t will be your passion.
The HP Pavilion Elite e9280t, with its Intel Core i7-920 processor, 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM, and 1 GB ATI Radeon HD 4650, is perfect for dedicated gamers, and not only! Although a TV tuner would have been nice to have and so would have been a Blu-ray ROM, we can't have everything in one package. And this desktop is definitely close to perfection as it is!
