2gb ddr3 versus 4gb ddr2?there are A LOT or pc lap tops I can get for almost half the price with 4gb ddr2
the laptop is aluminum and the pc laptops are plastic.......Get it, it's worth the extra $. My powerbook from 5 years ago is still not obsolete, it can simultaneously run photoshop, itunes, firefox, illustrator, etc. with no problem. Plus you don't need to worry about virus software or upgrades.

The Sony VAIO VGN-NW240F/P is one of the newest 15.5-inch laptop models in the market. It is light pink in color and has a set of very competent specs. This model has a 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of DDR2 RAM and a 320GB hard drive (5400RPM). It comes with the new Windows 7 Home Premium OS and also a variety of other features such as 802.11b/g/n wi-fi, an 8X DVD drive, a web cam, HD audio, a HDMI output, and 3 USB ports.
Like many Sony products, the Sony VAIO VGN-NW240F/P has a great design. The shade of pink that they have chosen for this laptop gives it a light and casual look, but yet retains a professional feel to it. Unlike the glossy or matte surface commonly found on other laptop models, this model has a textured external casing. Another unique feature is a dedicated button to turn of the display screen. With a great design and set of powerful specs, this laptop model is an unmistakable Sony VAIO laptop. The Sony VAIO VGN-NW240F/P is retailing at just around $729 per unit at the time of writing, which is about the price of a HP or Toshiba laptop with similar specs.
