hello i want to start a small wireless isp setup in my area i have d-link ANT24-1500 15 dbi gain antenna now the problem is that in our area the houses are made of bricks so i am not sure that wether the signal will pass through plus i am also not sure wether to use outdoor ap or a router u tell me which is more powerfull.someone told me that i should use auotgain booster with antenna it will make it possible for users to connect inside there room by using only a usb wireless adopter if yes then what power do i need 1w or 2w booster. i also just want that i don't wanna use ap at users side i want them to be able to connect thru adopter so tell what what kind of equipment do i need to make it possible i want to cover atleast 2km area plus is a directional antenna better then the omni please only experts should answer my question
If it were ONLY that simple!
First - you will need a whole lot more than a consumer grade cheap antenna!
To cover 2km with the users able to use the adapters that are in the machines they currently have, you will need several integrated access points around the area. There are several "Mesh" systems that allow this. Each AP will need to me mounted so that it is above the roof tops and able to "see" the next AP in the system. That usually means on a power pole or light pole or a user supplied pole of some sort! It means you will have to have POWER at each unit as well.
You can't legally run more than the maximum power allowed. You will have to check the FCC regulations and use the limits set. (2watts is well over the legal limit! 1watt is barely under and will only allow a small antenna!)
You will need an internet connection LARGE enough to handle the users! (Multiple DSL's or T lines but with enough bandwidth to allow all to connect.) You also need BUSINESS class lines so that you aren't violating the ISP's terms of use policies.
Here are some places that supply commercial grade wifi gear. You want to find "Mesh" or you will have to build a large control center to integrate all the AP's.

Do more research - if it were easy everyone would do it! There are tons of sites with information for you. But it is not quick, not easy, not cheap!

News and Articles for People Interested in Outdoor Wireless Routers

The internet is buzzing about indoor outdoor wireless speakers. You are probably wondering what all of the buzz is about, why they are so popular and what they can do for you.
First,Let's look at the why - Indoor outdoor wireless speakers are very popular because they allow you to have a great entertainment experience without the bother of setting up wired speakers. You don't have to worry about connecting the blue to the red or don't or maybe. Please follow my instructions on that part. I have no idea how to set up speakers that are wired. Wireless speakers allow people - like myself, to be able to have a great entertainment experience without using the brain too much.
The other great feature offered with these speakers is their wireless feature allowing you to set up speakers in different areas. You can set these speakers up anywhere in a range of up to 150 feet and you will still get crystal clear sound from your speakers. Are you worried about setting something in their line of sight? Don't... these speakers can still receive signal from the transmitter through walls and whatever else you may place in their way.
The third and my favorite feature is the fact that they are water resistant. You no longer have to worry about moving your speakers inside if a unexpected downfall happens.
Let's just say, these speakers will allow you to have a rockin entertainment experience no matter what your deal is.Great ideas for using your new speakers...
Pool Party Spa Party Patio Party Garden Party
I know that you will be able to think of even more great ideas and occasions for which to use your indoor outdoor wireless speakers. They are easily portable so you don't have to worry about difficulty if you want to move the speakers. You can make them indoor speakers one day and
outdoor the next.
