Hello!
First off all, i'm using a d-link dir-615 router.
I installed correctly, all firmware and software is updated. Everything has been reinstalled several times.

The router is connected directly into the wall (cable internet)
If I connect to the router with an ethernet cable I can get online, my computer does see the wireless network but it cannot connect.

I've searched forums, went through customer service several times, and have looked around all my router configurations multiple times for the answer to why I cannot connect to the router but have not found anything.

My question is, does my router have to be connected to the modem to have wireless capabilities?

Is there a common solution for this problem?
