Does speed of memory has big effect on computer's performance?
Does speed of memory has big effect on computer's performance? I am now choosing between ddr2-533 and ddr2-800. Will I see any real difference when I choose the faster ram. The ddr2-533 is a bit cheaper thats why I want to go with it. In reviews that I seen there were no difference at all or the difference was very minimal in real life applications,games and stuff like that. I dont care about benchmarks. If you got any links to prove otherwise can plz post them. So should I just save money and go with slower ram?
for right now the 533 will do, but in the future you will be able to see a difference between the two, when more and more stuff starts to use faster ram.
