Buying new p&s. Advice?
Hello fellow photographers!
Looking into buying a p&s camera. I simply cant make up my mind! I own a canon 5d mark2 & 1d mkiv, however im lookin for a light fun everyday memories camera!
2 Things are crucial, low noise & HD Video(Preferably full HD)
I was thinking Panasonic GF1, but something a bit smaller would help! honestly I like the sony TX7, however it doesnt compare to the gf1.
Ive also heard of the nex-5 from sony.is it worth spending about $900 on a p&s or should i stick to something like the tx7 or similar? Any advice is highly appreciated!
Cheers!you can consider Canon PowerShot SX210IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 14x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD

Articles and News with References to Panasonic Memory Sticks
Panasonic DMC-FX100 is a camera designed primarily for amateur photographers and is widely used all over the world. The ultra-compact camera features 12.2 mega pixel camera, 3.6x optical zoom lens, 2.5 inch LCD, built-in memory and a memory card slot that supports MultiMedia Card and Secure Digital cards. The images captured from the camera can be stored either in the internal memory of the camera or memory card. The images saved in either of the above storage mediums can become inaccessible once they are damaged. In such cases, these images can be viewed from an updated backup. But, if the backup is unavailable or falls short of restoringe the required images, then there is only option through which you can view your images. The option is a third-party Card Recovery Software.
To illustrate the above case, consider a practical scenario where you attempt to view the images saved on your Panasonic DMC-FX100 camera. Instead of the images, you view any of the below error message:
"BUILT-IN MEMORY ERROR"
Or
"MEMORY CARD ERROR"
The first error message appears when the in-built memory is corrupted, and the second error message pops-up when the memory card gets corrupted. Images saved in either of the storage media become inaccessible after either of the error messages pops-up.
Cause:
Few main reasons for the corruption of either of the storage media are improper shut down of the camera, human errors and virus hits.
Resolution:
The above error messages can be resolved only by formatting the storage media. Formatting of memory card needs to be performed in Panasonic DMC-FX100. While the error messages disappear post formatting the storage media, the data saved in storage media also disappears. You are not able to view even a single file after formatting. However, if you want to view the pictures post formatting, you will need to use an advanced Card Recovery application. A Card Recovery utility not only recovers images from formatted memory card, but also from formatted internal memory.
Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery is a Card Recovery Software that is trusted and purchased world-wide by both amateur and professional photographers. Supported by almost all kinds of memory cards, the software is available for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms. It also recovers data from hard disks, memory sticks, Zip drives, and similar storage media.
